DOH Reports 102 Additional COVID-19 Deaths for Sept. 27

The Department of Health on Tuesday reported 102 additional deaths for Monday, bringing total deaths since the pandemic began to 37,596.

There were zero deaths recorded for three days in September due to errors in the COVIDKaya system.

Monday's case bulletin was released at around 9:30 p.m., five hours later than the usual 4 p.m. upload. An earlier version of the day's tally was published, but was retracted immediately due to errors.

"As the technical team continues to manually encode data on fatalities reported from previous days, further advisories will be issued," the DOH said.
