FDA Warns Against Purchase, Use of Bench Cologne Scent

Just one scent in the cologne line.

The Food and Drug Administration on Monday warned the public against purchasing a cologne scent from local clothing brand Bench for non-compliance with its post-marketing surveillance.

Only the 'Nine to Mine' scent was tagged with the following non-compliance offenses:

  1. The ingredients listed on the label are inconsistent with the information declared in the acknowledged product notification
  2. The address of the local company responsible for placing the product in the market on the label is inconsistent with the information declared in the acknowledged product notification

Other variants in the same cologne line were not flagged. 

The public was advised to forego the purchase and use of the particular scent until changes are made.
