A fire hit a residential area in Barangay San Miguel, Pasig City, Mayor Vico Sotto said Wednesday night.
The blaze hit houses made out of light materials according to the Pasig Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
The fire was raised to second alarm, the second lowest under a 11-step system that determines how many fire trucks must respond.
Firefighters have responded as of early evening Wednesday.
"Malaki po ang sunog sa Tambakan San Miguel. At the scene po ang mga bombero. Pls pray," Sotto said in a Facebook post.
