Here are the June 2021 Restrictions for GCQ in the Metro Manila Bubble

Metro Manila and surrounding provinces will remain under general community quarantine or GCQ with restrictions until the end of June albeit with varying restrictions.

From June 16 to 30, the national capital region, and Bulacan will be under GCQ "with some restrictions" while the provinces of Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite will be under GCQ "with heightened restrictions."

Here are the rules and restrictions covering the two types of GCQ in the Greater Manila Area according to Malacañang:

Allowed age groups

ALL AREAS: 18 to 65 years old, fully vaccinated senior citizens

Indoor dining

NCR, BULACAN: Allowed at 40% capacity, may be increased to 50% depending on the LGU

LAGUNA, CAVITE, RIZAL: Allowed at 20% capacity, may be increased to 30% depending on the LGU

Outdoor dining

ALL AREAS: Allowed at 50% capacity

Religious activities, wakes, weddings, baptism

NCR, BULACAN: Allowed at 30% capacity, may be increased to 50% depending on the LGU

LAGUNA, CAVITE, RIZAL: Allowed at 10% capacity, may be increased to 50% depending on the LGU

Interzonal travel from NCR Plus areas

ALL AREAS: Allowed but subject to LGU restrictions of the destination

Intrazonal travel within NCR Plus areas

ALL AREAS: Movement is limited to accessing essential goods and for work in permitted establishments or for other activities allowed in the area.

ALL AREAS: Allowed

Indoor sports courts and venues

NCR, BULACAN: Gyms can operate at 20% capacity, may be increased to 30% with safety seal. Other indoor sports venues can operate at 30% capacity.

LAGUNA, CAVITE, RIZAL: Prohibited

Indoor tourist attractions

NCR, BULACAN: Museums and historical sites may operate at 30% capacity, may be increased to 40% with safety seal.

LAGUNA, CAVITE, RIZAL: Prohibited

Outdoor tourist attractions

NCR, BULACAN: May operate at 50% capacity

Staycations

ALL AREAS: Allowed without age restrictions

Venues for meetings, conferences, exhibitions

NCR, BULACAN: May operate at 30% capacity, may be increased to 40% with safety seal.

LAGUNA, CAVITE, RIZAL: Prohibited

Personal care services (salons, barbershops, beauty clinics)

NCR, BULACAN: May operate at 50% capacity only for services not requiring mask removal, may be increased to 60% with safety seal.

LAGUNA, CAVITE, RIZAL: May operate at 30% capacity only for services not requiring mask removal, may be increased to 40% with safety seal.

The following are prohibited from operating in all areas under GCQ:

  • Entertainment venues
  • Recreational venues
  • Amusement parks, fairs, playgrounds, kiddie rides
  • Traditional cockfighting and cockpits
