Employees working from home should also be included in the COVID-19 vaccine priority list along with economic frontliners, Labor Sec. Silvestre Bello III said Tuesday as the country geared up to expand its inoculation program.
Just because some workers are working from home doesn't mean they no longer report to their offices too, Bello said.
"Hindi naman nangangahulugan na porke't work-from-home sila ay hindi na sila pumupunta sa kanilang tanggapan," he said in a public briefing.

In Metro Manila, the labor chief said there are some 16,000 individuals working from home.
Companies last year had to adjust their work setups in response to the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Authorities have announced that the country's COVID-19 vaccination program would be expanded to economic frontliners this June, with those in urban hubs Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Laguna, Cavite, Rizal, Metro Cebu, and Metro Davao as the priority areas.
