Fast-food giant Jollibee said Tuesday it would provide free COVID-19 vaccines to all of its employees in the Philippines, underscoring their role as economic frontliners.

The vaccination program will cover all employees of the Jollibee Group including those from Chowking, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, Burger King, Red Ribbon, Panda Express, PHO24, commissaries, distribution centers, support functions, and the Jollibee Group Foundation.

“Our employees’ safety and well-being has always been paramount,” said Jollibee Group Chairman and Founder Tony Tan Caktiong.

Jollibee said its vaccination program would be implemented in adherence to the country's immunization guidelines.

Prior to Jollibee's announcement, several companies like McDonald's Philippines and Alliance Global Group Inc. have already promised free jabs for their employees.
