Kris Aquino on Christmas Day fired back at critics who questioned her leading an aid distribution for Typhoon Odette victims, saying "haters and trolls" were now getting "the Aquino you super deserve".
The youngest daughter of martyred Senator Ninoy and the late President Cory Aquino said she was nothing like her late brother, former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino, who was "too humble and proper for his own good".
"Thankfully, walang kapatid na aawat sa aking ngayon saying: ignore them, anyway we know and God sees the truth," Kris said, adding her brother, who died of kidney failure last June , "chose to suffer in silence".
"Iba na ang panahon, because haters, bashers and trolls, you are now getting the Aquino you truly deserve, dahil 6 years old pa lang, palaban na ko.

In a single Instagram post with seven cards, Aquino defended the relief drive where Vice President Leni Robredo was also present. She said presidential aspirant Robredo was cropped out of her previous posts of the activity.
"Bakit nyo ako tuturuan to quietly help? Hindi ko ninakaw yung perang ginamit, hindi pera ng gobyerno, galing sa sarili kong bulsa," she said.
"Alam ko din by posting, marami pa ang maeengganyong tumulong kasi reality na, 'if you didn't post it, it didn't happen. Kahit Pasko, I'm sorry I'm not a bit sorry. Pasensyahan tayo," she said.

In the succeeding Instagram cards from the same post, Aquino said many of the "Build, Build, Build" infrastructure projects completed during the Duterte years were actually started under her brother.
These include the Cebu-Cordova Bridge and the NAIA Expressway.
"Dapat pala akong si bunso ang naging unofficial yet credible and effective spokesperson nya," she said.
