LTO Extends License Validity in MECQ Areas Until September

The Land Transportation Office on Wednesday extended the validity of licenses that expired during the modified enhanced community quarantine or MECQ period.

Several areas in the country were place under stricter MECQ until June 30 as the government sought to control spikes in COVID-19 cases in different provinces.

Student permits, driver’s licenses, and conductor’s licenses will be valid until September 30, 2021, the LTO said. The extensions is applicable to the following regions:

  • Region 2
  • Region 3
  • Region 4A
  • Region 4B
  • Region 5
  • Region 6
  • Region 7
  • Region 9
  • Region 10
  • Region 11
  • CAR
  • CARAGA
