Manila halted mass vaccinations for the second day in a row on Tuesday according to a city health advisory, without immediately elaborating on the reason.
"Wala po tayong COVID-19 mass vaccination bukas, araw ng Martes, June 29," its public information office said.
Recipients of the second dose for the Russia-made Sputnik V vaccine were also told the city would not be administering jabs: "Kasabay nito ay wala rin munang isasagawa na second dose vaccination para sa mga indibidwal na una nang nabakunahan gamit ang Sputnik V vaccine."
Prior to the advisory, Manila accepted walk-ins daily and had an all-time of 35,572 vaccinated indviduals on June 22. Mayor Isko Moreno last week also received the first shipment of Sinovac vaccines procured via tripartite deals.
