Malacañang will declare May 3 as a holiday in observance of the Muslim feast Eid'l Fitr or the end of Ramadan, Executive Sec. Salvador Medialdea said Sunday.
Medialdea made the statement after the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos said the Eid'l Fitr prayer will be held on Monday, May 2 after the crescent moon has been sighted in different countries.
