Netflix Philippines on Friday unveiled its first trailer for animated series Trese adapted from the Filipino comic series of the same name.
Created by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo and first published in 2005, the series follows main character Alexandra Trese's horrific encounters with supernatural crime in fictional Manila. Like the comic, the animated series will feature familiar Pinoy mythical creatures such as tiyanaks and kapres.
The animated adaption of the award-winning graphic novel is Netflix's foray into original Asian content.
