Face-to-face classes in the National University in Manila resumed on Tuesday after Mayor Isko Moreno approved the resumption of physical lectures for students in medical programs.
NU's Medical Technology students wore personal protective equipment as they attended their class, with a cap of 12 people per room. Resumption of classes in Manila City are in accordance with the Commission on Higher Education and Department of Health Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2021-001.
While safety protocols are in place, those physically present in campuses were encouraged to get vaccinated once there were doses available for the A4 category.

The University of the Philippines - Manila, Emilio Aguinaldo College, PHINMA St. Jude College, and the University of Santo Tomas also got approval to resume physical classes for health and medical courses.
Educational institutions seeking to resume face-to-face learning must offer the priority health courses listed in the DOH-CHED document. Application will be at their respective regional CHED offices.
