PH Reports 291 COVID Cases a Week Before Christmas

The Philippines on Saturday logged 291 new COVID-19 cases a week before Filipinos mark the second pandemic Christmas.

Active COVID-19 cases are now at 9,924, with 523 new recoveries and 106 new deaths based on data from the Department of Health.

Since the pandemic started, the Philippines has reported a total of 2,837,555 COVID-19 cases of which 2,776,956 have recovered and 50,675 have died.

The entire Philippines is under Alert Level 2 until the end of the year even after the country reported its first imported Omicron variant cases.
