Philippines Accepts COVID Vaccine Certificates of More Countries

The Philippines will recognize COVID-19 vaccine certificates of more countries, Malacañang said Monday as pandemic restrictions drastically eased worldwide.

The Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19 response approved the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccine certificates issued by Egypt, Maldives, Palau, Albania, Estonia, Greece, Malta, and Uruguay, Cabinet Sec. Karlo Nograles said.

Earlier this month, the Philippines started to welcome fully vaccinated foreign tourists again as local COVID-19 cases continue to decrease.

COVID-19 vaccine certificates from these countries are already honored in the Philippines under a mutual arrangement:
