Motorists who weren't able to get the much-needed RFID stickers can still do so this 2021 as both AutoSweep and Easytrip tollway operators keep installation sites open.
While toll operators implemented cashless collection by Dec. 1 as planned, motorists who don't have a tag can still go to RFID installation sites near toll gates until further notice. Free installation of RFID stickers continues this January with several sites open to serve motorists 24/7.
For AutoSweep RFID stickers, motorists can apply in the following sites:
Autosweep RFID can be used at Skyway, SLEX, NAIAX, STAR Tollway, MCX, and TPLEX.
For those who have yet to secure their Easytrip RFID stickers, the following sites are open to serve motorists:
Easytrip RFID can be used at NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, and CALAX.
Authorities earlier said they are looking at ensuring that RFID tags work on all expressways, regardless of operator so that motorists no longer need to load different RFID tags.
