Robinsons Cybergate Galleria Cebu is now accredited by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), benefitting businesses that will set up shop in the there, its operator said Friday.
Cybergate Galleria Cebu, located along General Maxilom Avenue in Cebu City, was PEZA-certified before the passage of the CREATE Law, which ensures attractive incentives for I.T.-BPO companies wanting to do business in the Philippines.
"This means that businesses that set up their offices in the Cybergate Galleria Cebu will no longer have to worry about what incentives are in store for them as it is now clear that they will continue to enjoy PEZA benfits, as provided for in the CREATE Law," said Robinsons Land Senior Vice President and Office Buildings General Manager Jericho Go.
The 13-story building has nine office floors, all ready for occupancy, with a total gross leasable area of 19,500 square meters. It is designed to operate 24/7, equipped with 100% backup power and has multiple telecom providers, and boasts green and sustainable building features such as LED lighting.
It has a retail area at the ground floor which will have food and service operators.
The building is just beside Robinsons Galleria Cebu mall, the 220-room Summit Hotel, and the upcoming three-tower Galleria Residences Cebu inside the five-hectare complex.
It is close to residential communities, schools, hospitals, hotels commercial and lifestyle centers, and is easily accessible to public transportation. It is also 12 kilometers away from the Mactan International Airport.
With the completion of Cybergate Galleria Cebu, RLC now has 26 buildings, 25 of which are PEZA-registered.
