Robinsons Movieworld said it was assuring moviegoers of a worry-free and enjoyable movie experience as it ramps up its COVID-19 safety measures before its reopening on Nov. 24.

"We took extra measures to ensure that our customers can confidently step into Robinsons cinemas and not have to worry about their safety," said Arlene Magtibay, Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager of Robinsons Malls.

The popular cinema chain has partnered with UV Care, a leading brand in UV-C sterilizing technology that is lab-tested and proven to kill the virus that causes COVID-19.

Each cinema is equipped with UV Care air purifiers that come with medical-grade H13 HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Absorbing) filters that remove the tiniest particles including droplets that carry viruses in the air. Robinsons Movieworld

Robinsons Movieworld will also implement contactless and cashless transactions as it welcomes its patrons back. Moviegoers must show their COVID-19 vaccination cards before buying tickets and contact tracing forms will also be provided via QR code.

Body temperature check will also be required before entering the cinema, where hand sanitizers will also be provided at every entrance. Seating will also be socially distanced even for patrons from the same household.
