Robredo Shuts Down 'Fake News' Against Telemed Service Bayanihan

She's asking for help in reporting the posts.

Vice President Leni Robredo on Tuesday called for help in reporting "fake news" that claimed her teleconsultation service is gathering personal information from voters for the 2022 elections.  

The presidential aspirant said that "fake news at the height of the worst surge is unforgivable", disputing the claim that Bayanihan E-Konsulta was asking callers for their precinct numbers.

She said the service has always been for everyone regardless of affiliation and that they have been doing it even before the election season. 

"We do not ask for precinct numbers. Anyone can try our Bayanihan e-Konsulta page. We cater to everyone. Walang pinipili. Hindi pa eleksiyon, ginagawa na namin ito. Hindi sa pagbubuhat ng bangko pero yung consistency sa serbisyo, may eleksiyon o wala, hindi naman matatawaran," she said, noting how the service has helped thousands.

"Ang advice ko lang sa naninira, baka gusto niyo nang tumulong. Grabe pangangailangan ng mga kababayan natin ngayon," she said.
