President Rodrigo Duterte is set to decide on a possible extension of Alert Level 4 in Metro Manila tonight. Alert Level 4 could be maintained, or shift up or down to Alert Level 5 or Alert Level 3 respectively.

In one of his weekly addresses, he said vaccinations for the general public, including minors, could start as early as October. Those aged 12 to 17 years old will be prioritized, according to the DOH.
