Subic Bay Reopens to Tourists from Metro Manila Bubble

Subic Bay reopened its doors to tourists from Metro Manila and surrounding areas following an easing of travel restrictions, an official said.

According to a post from Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Chair Wilma T. Eisma, visitors of all ages from NCR Plus—which covers Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal—will be accepted starting June 1.

Travelers under 18 years old and those over 65 are required to present a negative RT-PCR test result.

The SBMA is yet to release a list of travel requirements but the advisory said all tourists must observe health and safety standards at all times.
