Some cities in the National Capital Region on Thursday implemented curfew hours for minors as the area relaxed restrictions for adults due to a drop in cases.
Curfews in Metro Manila were lifted starting Nov. 4. Movement for minors is subject to city ordinances and rules.
These Metro Manila cities have curfew hours for minors:
Mandaluyong City
According to City Ordinance No, 324, S-2005 The Curfew Ordinance for Minors in Mandaluyong City, those aged 17 and below must stay indoors from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Makati City
Under Makati's City Ordinance No. 2017-098, minors are also prohibited from leaving their homes from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. This will cover those 18 years old and below.
"Minors and those over 18 but incapable of fully taking care of themselves are not allowed to remain in public places like streets, highways, roads, sidewalks, parking lots, vacant lots, parks, alleys, playgrounds, curbs, gutters, driveways, walkways, and public buildings" during curfew hours, the advisory said.
