Swap Empty Bottles for Watsons Discounts at Select SM Malls

It's part of a push for responsible waste disposal.

Shoppers can turn in empty health and cosmetic bottles in exchange for discounts at Watsons branches in select SM Malls until Mar. 6 as part of mall management's push for proper waste disposal and recycling.

The recycling initiative is a partnership with local non-profit organization Plastic Credit Exchange, with a thrust in preventing ocean plastic pollution.

Deals are available Friday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those who trade in their trash can get 10% off for a minimum single-receipt purchase worth P500. Naturals by Watsons beauty products can be availed 20% off for a minimum single-receipt purchase worth P300.

  • SM Bacolod
  • SM Bacoor
  • SM Cebu
  • SM Davao
  • SM Mall of Asia
  • SM Megamall
  • SM Naga
  • SM North EDSA
  • SM Southmall

If you're looking to recylce more stuff from your home, SM malls—except SM Makati and SM Cubao—are also accepting paper, metal, and plastic waste. Electronic waste such as cords, chargers, adapters, phones, and batteries can also be dropped at SM's Cyberzone areas.

Wearing of masks and face shields are required, along with social distancing. Recylable items must be disinfected before drop-off.
