Two weather systems will bring rains to the Visayas and Mindanao on Wednesday and residents should prepare for possible floods and landslides, PAGASA said.
A low pressure area or brewing storm was spotted 210 kilometers south of Zamboanga City and is unlikely to intensify into a typhoon. There's also the tail-end of a frontal system, or the intersection of warm wet winds called easterlies and cold dry winds or amihan.

Moderate to heavy rains are expected today in Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro, Sorsogon, and Masbate, PAGASA weather forecaster Benison Estareja told Teleradyo.
Localized thunderstorms or rains of up to two hours at a time could inundate Davao Region and Soccsksargen, he said.
Luzon will experience isolated rains due to the northeast moonsoon but weather is generally fair, he said.
