The results of the 2020/2021 Bar exams, the first during the COVID-19 pandemic, will be released on April 12, the Supreme Court said Tuesday.
Bar Examinations Committee chairperson Associate Justice Marvic Leonen asked the high court to hold a special en banc session on April 12 for the report and release of the results, the high court’s public information office said.
The Supreme Court also set the oath-taking of new lawyers on May 2. Details of the venue and time will be announced on a later date.
The Supreme Court shortened the 2020/21 Bar Exams to two days and reduced its coverage considering the COVID-19 surge at that time.
For the 2022 Bar Exams, the high court said it would revert to the traditional four-day schedule and would cover the usual core subjects.
