The Philippines confirmed 11,681 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, as the lockdown or ECQ in Metro Manila and surrounding provinces was downgraded one notch to MECQ.
This brought the total number of active cases to 146,519 and the cumulative total to 864,868. There were 201 deaths and 55,204 recoveries on Sunday, bringing the overall totals to 14,945 and 703,404 respectively.
