The Medical City in Pasig City can no longer admit COVID-19 patients after it reached full capacity on Monday, Aug. 9, management said as the country continued to fight the spread of the more infectious coronavirus Delta variant.
COVID-19 patients in need of urgent medical assistance are advised to consider other hospitals.
"We regret to announce that as of August 9, 2021, our COVID floors, ER, and ICU unit have reached full capacity,” the hospital management said in a Facebook post.
It however assured that it would continue to provide quality medical care and monitor the COVID-19 situation in Pasig.
On Monday, St. Luke’s Medical Center also announced that its COVID-19 medical facilities in both Taguig and Quezon City have reached full capacity.
