Former President Joseph Estrada has been transferred to a regular hospital room from intensive care after testing negative for the coronavirus, his eldest son said Wednesday.
Estrada could also be transferred to a non-COVID area of the hospital soon, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada said.
"He is still on oxygen but no longer high flow and only by nasal cannula. He has no more fever and is eating well," the younger Estrada said.
"He is well-oriented and conversing normally," he added.
The 83-year-old Estrada was earlier intubated and placed under intensive care due to his COVID pneumonia.
