Globe Offers Free Calls, WiFi in Areas Affected by Jolina

Globe Telecom on Tuesday said it would provide free services to residents in areas affected by Typhoon Jolina (Conson).

The Libreng Tawag, Libreng Charging, and Libreng WiFi services are available from n the following areas:

Borongan Plaza, Baybay 3, Borongan City, Eastern Samar

Sept. 7 - 8, 2021

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

in front of the Municipal Building of Sta. Margarita in Western Samar

Sept. 7 - 8, 2021 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Joking is expected to make its sixth landfall over southeastern Quezon Tuesday night or Wednesday early morning, according to weather bureau PAGASA.

As of 1 p.m., the 10th storm of 2021 was in the vicinity of Baleno, Masbate packing winds of up to 110 kilometers per hour and 135 kph gusts, weather forecasters said. It is expected to weaken further as it moves inland, PAGASA said.
