Here's Your Guide to LRT, MRT, PNR 2021 Holy Week Hours

The Department of Transportation on Tuesday announced the suspension of trips of different train lines in Metro Manila for the Holy Week to give way to the yearly maintenance program.

Here are the operating hours of different train lines for the 2021 Holy Week:

MRT-3

No operations from March 30 (Maundy Thursday) to April 4 (Easter Sunday). Regular operations will resume on April 5, Monday.

LRT-1

March 29-30, Holy Monday to Tuesday

  • 4:30 a.m.- First commercial trip in Baclaran and Balintawak stations
  • 10 p.m.- Last commercial trip in Baclaran station
  • 10:15 p.m.- Last commercial trip in Balintawak station

No operations from March 31 (Holy Wednesday) to April 4 (Easter Sunday). Regular operations will resume on April 5, Monday.

LRT-2

March 29, Holy Monday

  • 5 a.m.- First commercial trip in Recto and Santolan stations
  • 8:30 p.m.- Last commercial trip in Santolan station
  • 9:30 p.m.- Last commercial trip in Recto station

March 30, Holy Tuesday

  • 5 a.m.- First commercial trip in Recto and Santolan station
  • 8 p.m.- Last commercial trip in Recto and Santolan station

No operations from March 31 (Holy Wednesday) to April 4 (Easter Sunday). Regular operations will resume on April 5, Monday.

PNR

April 1, Maundy Thursday

  • No operations except Calamba-Tutuban trip

April 2-3, Good Friday to Black Saturday

  • No operations

April 4, Easter Sunday

Resumption of operations for the following routes:

  • Tutuban-Alabang and vice versa
  • Tutuban-Calamba and vice versa
  • Tutuban-Gov.Pascual and vice versa
  • Gov. Pascual-Bicutan and vice versa
  • Naga-Sipocot and vice versa

Regular operations will resume on April 5, Monday.
