Presidential candidate Isko Moreno cast his vote in Tondo on Monday, eyeing a jump from Manila City Hall to Malacañang that will only be the second time in history.
The 47-year-old Moreno slipped to fourth in the last Pulse Asia survey before the May 9 vote, after he dared survey second-placer Leni Robredo to withdraw, and accused the vice president of bullying him into quitting the race.

Moreno fielded himself, Sen. Panfilo Lacson and former defense secretary Norberto Gonzales as alternatives to the Robredo vote.
Moreno previously said Bongbong Marcos and Robredo would not get his vote as both are after the highest seat in the land for the sake of political revenge.

The actor-turned-politician was welcomed to the Tondo precint at 11:30 a.m.
"Ayaw na natin ng away, ng gantihan. Ang inaalay ko na lang sa inyo, peace of mind. Napakahirap hanapin ng peace of mind. But, today you will find it sa polling station niyo," he said, adding that he hoped the elections would be "Tahimik, mapayapa, at matagumpay."
"Napagkaitan ng progreso yung mga kababayan natin...Tama ang desisyon ko tumakbong presidente," he said, as an alternative option to the red and yellow that have been at war since 1986.
Moreno urged Filipinos to vote "ng tunay na lider na makakabigay ng tunay na solusyon." "Ito'y tungkol sa buhay niyo, anim na taon ng buhay niyo, anim na taon ng buhay natin at ng bansa natin."
Should Moreno win, he will be the second person to go from mayor straight to president.
Should he lose, Moreno said he would spend time with family after 24 years of serving Manila City's local government first as councilor, vice mayor for two terms, and mayor for a term.
