Labor leader Leody de Guzman said Tuesday he would run for president under the Partido Lakas ng Masa partylist to fight for the workers rights in the country.
De Guzman accepted the party's "challenge" to be its standard bearer during its national convention. He said he would push for systemic change in the government while representing the working class.
De Guzman ran unsuccesfully for senator in 2019.
