Magnitude 4.3 Earthquake Hits Occidental Mindoro

A magnitude 4.3 earthquake rocked Paulan, Occidental Mindoro on Friday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.

The tremor struck at 37 kilometers southwest of Paulan at around 1:12 p.m., Phivolcs said, noting that aftershocks are not expected.

The following instrumental intensities were reported:

Intensity II - Calatagan, Batangas; Tagaytay City
Intensity I - Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro

Several netizens reported feeling the earthquake in parts of Metro Manila too.
