Makati Suspends Number Coding During MECQ

Coding now suspended in entire Metro Manila.

Makati City's local government on Wednesday suspended the number coding scheme in the city for the duration of the modified enhanced community quarantine.

Before the announcement, Makati was the only city in the capital region where number coding remained in force, despite being suspended by the MMDA, along with the truck ban.

There was no specific end date for the city's suspension. However, MECQ is set to last until April 30, unless it is extended or quarantine classifications change.

Until further notice, the aforementioned schemes remain suspended in all cities in the capital region.
