Here's the 24-hour weather outlook for today, July 22, from PAGASA:

Metro Manila

Expect clear skies until noontime due to the easterlies, or warm winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean. Cloudy skies may follow in the afternoon.

Luzon

It will be rainy in Palawan and other areas facing West Philippine Sea due to the low pressure area spotted 185 km off Calapan City at 3 a.m. Friday. It is not expected to intensify into a storm.

Friday will generally be sunny for most of Luzon, with cloudy skies by noontime in Pangasinan, parts of Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, and the rest of Mimaropa. Expect isolated thunderstorms in parts of Ilocos Region, Cordillera, Central Luzon, and the rest of Southern Luzon.

Visayas

Expect a fair weather until the afternoon due to the easterlies, while there's a high chance of rains in Western Visayas and Central Visayas, with possible thunderstorms in Southern Leyte.

Mindanao

It will be rainy in Davao Region and Caraga Region due to the easterlies while expect isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening in Zamboanga Peninsula, northern Mindanao region, Soccsksargen, Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao.
