Senior citizens and other members of the vulnerable population can have the open spaces of Manila's walled city, Intramuros, exclusively for two hours every Saturday starting Oct. 30.
The Intramuros Administration said it would reserve Fort Santiago and Baluarte de San Diego for morning exercises every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for fully vaccinated seniors above 65, pregnant women, persons with disability, and persons with health risks.
Two fully vaccinated individuals coming from the same household may accompany the person who wishes to join in the morning exercise.
Those who wish to visit for their morning exercise can book a ticket in advance online through this online form. Walk-ins are prohibited, the Intramuros Administration said.
Several tourist spots in Metro Manila and across the country have reopened this month as the government eased COVID-19 protocols.
