A 24-hour COVID-19 vaccination site will soon open at the High Street Vaccination Hub in Taguig catering exclusively to government and economic frontliners in the A4 category, the city government said Sunday.

The immunization hub is meant to accommodate those who could not get themselves inoculated during office hours due to their work schedule. Operations start this week.

"There should be not much concern about workers getting vaccinated beyond curfew hours. Since by appointment naman lahat ng vaccination in Taguig, they can simply show their appointment slip to the enforcers if needed," Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano said in a statement.

Taguig is currently implementing its TRACE system allowing residents and workers to schedule their own date, time, and place of vaccination. Those who cannot book their slots online can visit Taguig TRACE kiosks in all barangays and selected malls in the city.

The city has vaccinated a total of 238,853 individuals from the A1 to A4 categories as of June 26. It is targeting to vaccinate 680,000 people by the end of the year.
