An elementary school in Valenzuela marked the COVID-19 era by naming all five sections of its first grade after life-saving vaccines.

While kids can't get the jab yet due to limited supply, the Grade 1 students of Bitik Elementary School were assigned to sections named after the popular jabs -- Sinovac, Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen, and Astra (short for AstraZeneca), according to its official Facebook page.

It's the only grade level which reflects the COVID-19 pandemic, as the other grade levels have sections named after fruits, trees, books of the Bible, and birthstones.

Netizens praised and poked fun over the section names, with some calling the advisers "front teachers."

"Sputnik wala?"

"Eto po ba 'yung star section?" referring to Pfizer, the vaccine which caused long queues at vaccination sites in Manila due to its high efficacy.

"Nasan na ang Grade 1 - Ivermectin?"

"50% lang po ba yung present sa klase sa Sinovac section?" another said, referring to the Chinese-made vaccine's efficacy rate.
