The CAVITEX-C-5 Southlink Expressway, which shortens travel time between the two thoroughfares, is targeted for completion in 2022, Public Works Sec. Mark Villar said Thursday.
Construction on the 7.7-kilometer expressway is underway. Once complete, it will pass through Las Piñas and Parañaque and is seen to cut time on the road to just 10 minutes from 40 minutes.
Makati, Taguig, Las Piñas and Pasay will also be connected through the Build, Build, Build project.
"Mababwasan din ang vehicular traffic sa EDSA at sa ibang thoroughfares sa Metro Manila," Villar said.
