- The President’s longtime aide, Sen. Bong Go, responded to calls for him to run for president with Duterte as his VP: consider me last.
- In a late night meeting with partymates urging him to run for vice president next year, President Rodrigo Duterte responded, “Maybe, I will”.
- Duterte also dug up a P2-billion tax case against his former ally, Sen. Manny Pacquiao. The President said Pacquiao and another enemy, former Sen. Antonio Trillanes, were attacking him for political leverage.
- Comelec will open voter registration booths in Robinsons Malls under a partnership with Robinsons Land that will be signed on July 12.
