What You Need to Know About Quezon City Quarantine Passes

Quezon City residents are required to present quarantine passes while Metro Manila is under enhanced community quarantine or ECQ.

Like other cities under ECQ, only Authorized Persons Outside of Residence or APORs can leave their homes to work, grab essentials, or to get vaccinated. For a full list of APORs, check our guide. Those not on the list will have to get a quarantine pass.

Where to get a quarantine pass

Residents can get a quarantine pass from their respective barangays.

Who can get one?

It's best to give the quarantine pass to a vaccinated member of the household. If no one has received their jab, the pass can go to the family member that needs to go out for essentials.

One household can get one quarantine pass only.

It's not transferrable

Let's say your mom gets the pass. This can't be passed on to you if you want to go out. Only the person who got the pass can use it.

APORs don't need the pass

Workers in allowed industries, frontliners, and those scheduled to receive their vaccines can leave their homes without a quarantine pass.

For essential workers, you must present your ID at checkpoints. For those getting their vaccine, be sure to have a printout or screenshot of the vaccine appointment.

Those going out to buy essentials for the home must bring the pass still.

What about minors and seniors?

Minors and seniors are barred from leaving their homes while the capital region is under lockdown. Those aged 18 and below and 65 and above can only go out in Quezon City for the following reasons:

  • purchase of food and/or medicine
  • hospitalization
  • vaccination
