You Can Visit the National Planetarium Again Starting July 1

The National Museum's National Planetarium Exhibition Hall is opening its doors again to the public starting Thursday, July 1.

Only individuals aged 15 and above will be allowed entry, the National Museum said in a statement Monday. Senior citizens who have completed their COVID-19 vaccines will also be allowed to enter provided that they present their vaccination cards.

"Walk-in visitors are welcome but will be limited to 20 persons per session only; each session takes about 30 minutes. Planetarium shows are temporarily not available," the National Museum said.

Visiting schedules are from Tuesday to Sunday at 9 a.m. to 12 noon for the morning session and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the afternoon session.

Here are the guidelines visitors need to observe when visiting the National Planetarium:

1. Wear face mask and face shields at all times.

2. Observe physical distancing of at least 2 meters between persons who do not belong to the same household.

3. Accomplish the health declaration form via the StaySafePH mobile app.

4. Persons with temperatures of 37.5 degrees celsius and above will not be allowed to enter.

5. Persons with fever and flu-like symptoms will also be denied entry.
