Jollibee thanked its fans in a nostalgia-filled video released on Thursday, days after fans showed their support on social media in the face of allegations it served a deep-fried towel instead of chicken.
The Philippines' largest fastfood operator told supporters in the clip that it had been with them through big and small life milestones, like their first paycheck or a surprise pasalubong. In less than an hour since posting, it got nearly 10,000 reactions and 1,600 shares.

"Salamat sa bawat sandaling kami ang pinili ninyong magbigay ng saya sa inyo. At salamat sa mga pagkakataong kami naman ang pinasaya ninyo," Jollibee said in the two-minute video showing old photos of kids hugging mascots, birthday parties, and even weddings.
"Para sa inyo na hindi bumitaw at patuloy na nagmamahal, kasiyahan namin ang mapasaya kayo," it said.
Its branch in BGC was shut for three days to give way to an investigation into the deep fried towel incident. Fans and at least one establishment expressed its support for Jollibee.
